Elizabeth Musser is the author of Borrowing Trouble, a novel about two estranged sisters who find themselves unexpectedly thrown together, and the title character's search for peace and reconciliation. Musser received her PhD in English from the University of Kentucky. She is also the author of The Little House That Wasn't There, the story of how she found her father's diary. Her historical fiction, including The Bargain, was nominated for a Montana Book Award
Her short stories have appeared in Story magazine and other publications. Musser has taught creative writing at Pennsylvania State University and currently teaches at Arizona State University.
